I had an amazing night last night shooting hoops with a great group of guys that I met through my friend Teddy. We played down at Ben Page Center in Goleta, which has two indoor courts. It was especially nice playing indoors as I don’t think I’ve done that since high school. I’m more used to getting road rash on the outdoor beat-up double rimmed neighborhood courts. Gotta say, what a contrast in game quality. We must have played a total of 10 games or so, but there were breaks as we had 3 teams of five and the winner stayed on. Problem with this was that Teddy was on fire sinking 2-pointers all night, so of course his team didn’t get a whole lot of rest. My team did win a few games but we were lacking offensively for some reason. I’m not exactly sure what our deal was, but we were solid on “D”. It was also cool meeting a bunch of new guys out here in Santa Barbara and I look forward to getting to know them.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures to post up, but I’ll be playing every Tuesday night, so I should have some pics next week.
